Topic: Orang asli settlement
THE PEOPLE
"Orang asli" means "original people",who are indigenious people found in Peninsullar Malaysia. there are 3 tribes which are mainly "the Semang (negrito), Senoi, and Proto-Malay (Aboriginal Malay).
APPLICATION
OBJECTIVES:
-To educate the masses about the indegious people of Orang Asli.

BUTTONS:
There will be 5 buttons being:home page,info page,gallery,contacts,exit button
HOME PAGE-the button for home page would be something of nature like leaves because thats where our subject is based at.This time i will be avoiding using the obvious to make my application more official and market-level.
INFO PAGE-it is going to contain all the info about the settlement and the history of the people,basically what you need to know to have a little light about what exactly the topic is about and our subject.
GALLERY PAGE-in the gallery i would put pictures of the place looks like and the daily shots form morning till late.
CONTACTS-in here is just the details of how anyone can get hold of the people in charge if any hepl is required.
EXIT-the button for the "exit" is going to be more tools used in the jungle as cutting,chopping tools.

TASK:
-visit the place,learn the ways of the Orang asli settlement and digitize every moment so that i can show the world how it looks like and the way of their life.

BACKGROUND SOUND:
-In this application i will be using original sound which i captured my self and in this one is going to be the sound of nature which is basically birds,people of Orang asli.

HISTORY
The Orang asli people lived alone until they were involved in tradings with the Indians.this made them visible and easily contacted by the world.They retreated further into the inland to avoid everything.They were also the target of Christian missionary and subjects of anthropological research.
SLAVERY
Slave raids into Orang Asli settlements were quite common,in the 18th and 19th centuries. Slave-raiders were mainly local Malays and Bataks, who considered the Orang Asli as 'kafirs', 'non-humans', 'savages' and 'jungle-beasts.During the raid,adults were killed and women and children were captured and sold to local rulers.This period is a sad one never to be forgotten by those still alive.
ECONOMY
Orang Asli living in remote forest areas engaged in some trading with the Malays, with jungle produce being exchanged for salt, knives and metal axe-heads.
